KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Bronson Commons in Mattawan has been awarded the 2021 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.
The program recognizes healthcare providers across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality of care for residents and individuals with disabilities in long term and post-acute care centers.
This year, 54 skilled nursing care centers and assisted living communities across the country earned the silver award. Bronson Commons is the only recipient in Michigan.
Bronson Commons located in Mattawan in Van Buren County, is a 100-bed skilled nursing center offering extensive rehabilitation therapies.
It is part of the full continuum of care that Bronson provides to patients and families in southwest and south central Michigan. It is a member of the Bronson Healthcare system.
